DJ YEARS

For twenty years, Reggie Miles entertained audiences in Chicago as a Disc Jockey. He began spinning while attending college in 1973. After two years at Lewis University, Reggie decided to pursue the lucrative Chicago DJ scene. His versatility with the music (R&B, Dusties, Disco, Jazz, Steppers) and his radio voice led Reggie to several established clubs and social clubs.  From 1987 through 1991, Reggie was recognized as one of the top Stepping DJ’s in Chicago and was awarded the Steppers DJ of the year award in 1991. Mr. Miles established himself as a bright star among the DJ elite combining radio professionalism, personality and innovative spinning techniques that paved the way for contemporary Steppers' DJ's. Today, after years of absence from the Steppers scene  Reggie’s talent as a DJ is  talked about as Legend.  Reggie Miles  is the “Gale Sayers” of the Chicago DJ scene.
